Cozumel Trip June 1993
In early May, I think, I got a call from Charla Warren. A family friend who was working as a travel agent at the time. She said that she had a really cheap trip to Cozumel. A buy one get one free deal. We signed up quick. It was a 4 day, 3 night trip. We flew out on Friday and came home Monday. In addition to myself and Terri, we had Dennis and Charla Warren, Wendal "Gabe" and Barbara "Magic" Gabier (Cheri was no longer in the picture), and Butch Neally and date Debbie (don't know her last name). While there we met another couple. I hate that I don't remember the husband's name, but we called him Bart Simpson. The wife's name was Tara and their last name escapes me. Really wish I could remember. They were a lot of fun. Had a really good trip. Didn't carry any major cameras and in fact I carried disposable cameras. Got a few shots of diving and mostly shots of sitting in "El Puertal" sidewalk bar on Monday waiting to go to the airport to come home.

Shot of Terri after her beach dive at Chancanab.

Shot of Tara, Jose (you can barely see him, divemaster), Magic, and Terri headed out on the Danielle II. We were headed out to Santa Rosa Reef if I remember correctly.

Here's Gabe and myself in "El Puertal" waiting to head for the airport. I really don't know where Gabe got the hat. I had more than my fair share of Rum and Cokes that weekend.

Here's Terri with the waiter at "El Puertal". She was about to be off on a shopping spree. She actually had a lobster dinner somewhere in town for 5 bucks. I kid you not.

Here's Magic.

Shot of Gabe and Tara.
