Hot Springs, Arkansas November 2006
In November, Terri and I took a long weekend and drove up to Hot Springs, Arkansas. About a 2 hour or so drive. We stayed in the Velda Rose Hotel and Spa. An older hotel but nice. We spent a couple of days walking the streets and went up to an observation tower to look out over the area. We also went by and spent some time in the Garvan Garden's Botanical Park. Unfortunately it was Fall and most plants had just about packed it in for the Winter. A few of the Japanese Maples were still in full color. We would like to go back in the Spring or early Summer. Nice trip. Here are a few pictures.
