Making the last cut connecting the mass to my little patient.

Completely excised.

Although you can't see it there is a ruler on the scalpel handle.  This mass measured over 6 cm.

Due to a lot of what is called dead space, a drain tube is inserted to prevent serum and blood from forming a pocket.  We usually leave the tube in 3-4 days until the skin has a chance to "stick" back down.

One more shot of the drain tube being placed.
